Wandoor beach is about 30 kms west of Port Blair. The Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park, established in 1983, is nearby. Boats are on hire from Wandoor Jetty to visit the Marine Park and other nearby islands such as Jolly Buoy and Redskin.
There are 15 islands of various sizes in the Marine Park and the beauty is further enhanced by the amazing variety of birds and marine life, including salt water crocodiles that thrive in the mangroves.
